Last weekend, Lillian and I rented a cottage for a couples' retreat to plan for our future, and to relax and enjoy our present.
Above the bed there were two bookshelves providing reading material for renters. I decided to leave one of my author copies among them.
I'll probably never know what becomes of it. It might sit there unread for years, maybe eventually get donated somewhere. Still, I like the idea that it could be read.
It should be noted for posterity, I fell into the river twice.
