Excerpt from The Arknemesis Must Be Slain Twice

Here we have the handsome hero, long locks waving in the wind as he stands triumphantly over his seemingly slain arknemesis.
Seemingly.
As we know, the arknemesis must be slain twice.
Let us linger a moment on this monster. Bit of an ugly fellow, isn't he. Any moment now he will rise and go after our unsuspecting hero as he walks away believing his battle won.
Any moment now.
He really is drawing out the suspense.
While we wait, let us examine him more closely. Odd. He's not clad all in black as we would expect. No accessorizing with skull motif, nor is he armed to the teeth with nasty looking blades. Not so monstrous close up. Not even ugly, really. Still…
Still he does not move. Perhaps this is not the arknemesis after all, but some lesser minion several ranks shy of the real leader.
Come, we must catch up with our hero again.
